A short run down on past adventures....

2010 - LHR visited Vanautu at the invitaion of pastor Joash Sina. We spent time encouraging sports clubs, giving school stationary to small rural schools and running a childrens program in a village called Tanoliu.
A meeting with the elders of Elama Church Session and it was to set the next project for LHR.
"Lisa please can you help us fundraise to build a new church and community hall. We are worried about our youth as they have no where to enjoy their spare time and they are getting up to no good"
No wanting to disappoint but needing my new friends to understand that we didnt come from a huge church with lots of money, my answer was simple. I am a small person with the Big God we must pray and see where God leads.
2011 A visit to Tanoliu to continue to discuss the dream of building a new church but I had modified the dream to make it a church/community hall. I met with the head elders of Vanuatu Pres church to get their approval. They had never heard of combining a church and hall as one. They approved and said it would be a trial run for future ideas.
2012 Lisa had won the support of Jim Deere of Gisborne Kiwispan a steel frame building company. Jim and Lisa went to Fiji to meet with the Tanoliu elders, the village chief and for Jim to set out the profiles for a slab to be laid.
2013 The Tanoliu villagers had laid a slab according to Jims specifications.
a group of 7 adults had committed to fundraising and going to Vanuatu to build a Kiwispan building. In June a 100 locals had laid a 12 x 20 metre concrete the weekend before we arrived. It had potiential to go horribly wrong but it didnt and the dimensions were perfect.
Jim, Rob and Murray Windmill worked tirelessly for 6 days and completed the build. The villagers and surrounding communities were in awe.
Small person Big God!
2014 We returned to celebrate the opening of the church. We dicussed helping the community to finish building their schools extra 2 classrooms.
Rob and I went off to explore of Vanuatu.

2015 Lisa visited Vanuatu to start to organise a project for 2016
