​Rob and Lisa Daunton have had a heart and passion for the Islands since visiting Fiji in 2000. Rob is a practical, Kiwi 'do-it-yourselfer', with a forestry background, while Lisa will turn her hand to anything so long as it doesn't require a sewing machine or being in an office. Ironally she has worked in an office for the past 3 years!
Over the years they have run many projects under a church banner and since 2010 forming LHR in order to be able to widen the scope for both projects and volunteers.
Their faith in God is the centre to all they do,both in their own marriage and their work in the islands. Many things are a good idea but in the end the measure is if it is a "God idea".
Lisa is the visionary and Rob is the stablising influence between them much has been achieved.
The suport of our fellow trustees is vital and we appreciate their interest in what we dream and do.
As the youngest member of our team Abi Daunton has had the exposure and experince of the various Daunton family trips to Fiji. She was on the recce' trip to Vanuatu in 2010 and has been behind all our plans and fundraisers. She is passionate about the work of LHR and the relationships formed from it. She loves giving people the opportunity to experience something new and seeing the change in people when they get the chance to experience life at grass roots level in another country. She has a heart for the people of the south pacific and is excited to see what God is going to do through the work of LHR in the future. It was Abi who came up with the name Lost Hope Restored

Carla Clement - as a mid wife she has a passion and heart for people.She spends much of her time supporting encouraging and nurturing mums during their pregnancy, giving birth and for some time afterward. A great believer in rolling her sleeves up and getting stuck in she is not afraid of hard work nor is she put off by less that ideal conditions. Carla has worked in Vanuatu as a mid wife and is looking forward to further involvement in the islands through her work with LHR.
Kathy McGurk - has a heart for our Pacific neighbours. She loves to empower new mother's to have a fun and healthy time with their baby. She loves to see that the baby gets the best opportunity it can in life and loves seeing happy relationships within families. She enjoy outdoors and looking after the environment. Jesus is her rock and believes in being a hands on Christian. Kathy is a registered nurse with 30 yrs of experience working with well children under 5 years and their families in the community.

As trustees we are all self funded and take no money from the trust to aid us in our expenses. However some donors have at times requested the money be tagged for a certian trustee which is always really appreciated.
Rob and Lisa choose to carry the cost of the administration.
